This past weekend my husband and I took a much needed romantic vacation to Grafton, IL. It's a cute little town about 3 hours from were we live. It's right where the Illinois and Mississippi rivers meet. Here are some pictures from our trip!
The Grafton Inn: We stayed in the upper right suite. It's right in the middle of town. We were able to walk everywhere except to the water park.
Our first night there we ate at the Loading Dock. It's a restaurant right on the river and they had a live band playing out on the deck.
We then walked down by the river and looked at the lighthouse!
Then we went and got some yummy ice cream at the Whole Scoop.
Saturday morning we got up and had some donuts from the town bakery.
We then headed to some antique stores in town and the flea market!
Here are my flea market finds!
Next was the water park! Raging Rivers was a lot of fun and you could see the river from the park!

Saturday night we went and ate at the Big Kahuna. It was also right on the river and next to the marina. We had their delicious thin crust pizza!
Then we walked by the river & lighthouse one last time.
It was an awesome trip and we can't wait to go back!
